You dont get to see or hear them very often. they see you. but cannot hear what you say. A young challenged community numbering 4 million in India adding 25000 more to its fold every year. A deaf child is no different from a hearing child. they have every bit the same potential but that potential is more often than not, lost in a maze of stigma, prejudice and modesty of material resources. The deaf child is, thus, denied the right to be included and valued by society.
